Services Centre for the Disabled (SCD) is  registered under society registration Act 1860; the head office is situated at Titilagarh of Bolangir District, Odisha, started its journey in 1985; by providing services for the socio-economic development of the deprived, marginalized group in the society particularly focused on Persons with Disabilities in the western part of Odisha. With 30 years of successful operation SCD today is recognized as one of the front ranking NGO in the western part of Odisha working in the field of disability. Our sincerity, accomplishment and experience, SCD has been consistently approached for partnership, alliance, orientation and training. Today the organization has a deep rooted understanding and experience in various fields such as Rehabilitation, Comprehensive eye care surgery, and micro-credit, promoting and strengthening Disabled People’s Organizations and many more.

Health Care (Eye Hospital)

We are running an eye hospital since 20 years. Yearly we are doing 6000 nos. of Cataract surgeries of poor and needy people of this region.

Education

We have a special residential school having 60 students. Out of 60 students 30 nos. are Blind Impairment, 30 nos. are Hearing impairment.

Skill Development

We are working for socio economic development of the persons with disabilities. We identified them and send them to Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for the Handicapped (VRCH).
